I was born in Uganda and has been living in the UK since 1990.I live in London with my two children.

In 2007,I was forced into ill-health retirement after 20 years of a successful career in HIV Prevention.I turned to creative writing in 2010 and attends CityLit College in London.My abstracts ‘Uganda Equator’ and ‘ The History of my hair’ were published in Between The Lines,CityLit in 2011 and 2012.I am an Award Winner,Learner’s Award CityLit 2012.

I am a contributor to ABC of HIV and AIDS ( sixth edition) edited by Prof M.W Adler,Dr Simon Edwards,Prof.Robert Miller,Dr G Sethi and Dr Ian Williams WILEY-BLACKWELL 2012

I am a co-author of the strategic document(Sarah Pulle,Juliet Lubega,Oliver Davidson,Martha Chinouya); Doing it well. A good practice guide for choosing and implementing community-based HIV prevention interventions with African communities in England”2005 (National African HIV Programme,NAHIP- African HIV Policy Network)

I have extensive experience in small media writing aimed at public health and health promotion in England;Africans thinking it through, relationships, culture & HIV;Assessing your risks, information about HIV transmission for African people,HIV and You –  issues for African men among others.

I am the founder of “The National HIV Prevention Conference – African Communities in England” 2000 currently run by NAHIP(African Health Policy Network)

I attended Budo Junior School and Gayaza High School,Kampala,Uganda.I hold a BA Hons Social Work and Social Administration of Makerere University Kampala,and Msc Social Research Methods in the Social Sciences of Middlesex University,London.
